With the longest coastline in the contiguous United States you may think the beaches throughout the state of Florida are all the same and offer similar activities and experiences, However, that is not necessarily the case. Although all Florida beaches are great some of them definitely stand out above the rest. These beaches are not listed in any particular order but I assure you if you are looking for a good time… just pack your beach bag and Go-Pro camera and keep reading.
First on our list is Daytona Beach! The home of Bike week and Biketoberfest Daytona is known for large fun crowds during peak seasons and is also one of the only large beaches you can still drive on. There is plenty to do in Daytona from the infamous Daytona Beach pier to Ponce inlet you will be pleasantly surprised on what you might find waltzing around. Also if you are a spring breaker and don’t want to spend the money to go to Mexico Daytona Beach is a guaranteed good time!
Speaking of spring break next on the list is probably the most well know for a spring break getaway, Panama City Beach. Picture white sand beaches, everyone showing up for the same reason and don’t forget the southern hospitality. There has been a huge push to “clean up” Panama City Beach from the spring breakers but all I have to say is “old habits die hard” this place has countless hotels and condos on the shore and can be completely booked up to a year in advanced. With incredible beaches, many beach concerts, and a thriving night life there is no guessing why this place is still known for its “party crowd”.
Clearwater beach is another awesome destination known for its beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear water (hence the name Clearwater!). One of the number one pastimes in Clearwater is tanning and enjoying the sights of other people getting their tan on. This beach also has one of the most spectacular sunsets in the entire state, the nightlife clings to Pier 60 with live music, entertainment and plenty of shops and bars.
This list would not be complete without Miami’s infamous South Beach. Where some of the top restaurants, bars and clubs exist South Beach has everything you need if you are looking for a good time. You won’t find abetter spot in Florida for some of the hottest night life and people around. Just think, there is a reason why Hollywood shoots so many movies here.
Sure it’s a short list and I wont lie MANY of Florida’s other beaches are filled with awesome party scenes and super hot “temperatures”, some say its due to the almost year around good weather and others say its due to the amount of visitors from foreign counties that bring us all the great cultural diversities and the hottest looks. All we know is that Florida definitely has the hottest beaches in the United States.
